Tigh Nora

Tigh Nora is Galway’s most popular Gin Bar serving over 200 different gin & tonics, along with a full drinks menu! Located on Cross Street in the heart of the city’s thriving Latin Quarter, Tigh Nora really is a gin lovers dream.

It’s named after Nora Barnacle, the wife and inspiration of James Joyce who lived down the street from where the bar is now located. It’s also the first bar in Ireland to release its own gin, aptly named ‘Nora’s Irish Gin!’

While gin is always their first love, all your favourites including draught beer, wine and bubbly, premium spirits and gin cocktails are served. They’ve been told time and again they serve a fine pint of Guinness too. Tigh Nora is an intimate venue adjoined to the popular Front Door Pub.
