It’s official.. The Latin Quarter is the best place in Ireland to enjoy a G&T, after winning the Gold Medal for ‘Gin Destination of the Year’ at the Irish Gin Awards.
Every year The Latin Quarter plays host to ‘Gin Fest’, a 4 day celebration of all things gin and tonic, where G&T drinkers and the best gin brands from across the globe come together for four days of GINtastic fun!
Highlights of the festival include; masterclasses and tasting, new gin launches, gin cruises and forages, competitions and giveaways, along with a pop-up gin village. The festival usually takes place around #WorldGinDay with the bars and restaurants a hive of activity.
Galway is renowned as the city of festivals, so adding Gin Fest to the programme of events is another fantastic celebration for locals and visitors to the city to savour.
The Latin Quarter is renowned for its nightlife, with each of the bars boasting an impressive gin menu, along with gin cocktails and tasting experiences. The bartenders are always happy to offer G&T recommendation and there is even a dedicated gin bar called Tigh Nora, with over 200 G&T’s to choose from!
Bars across the country have seen a surge in the popularity and demand for gin so The Latin Quarter want to create a festival that brings people together from the master distillers to those who enjoy drinking gin.
