Located in the city centre of Galway’s vibrant ‘Latin Quarter’, the award winning Quays Bar Galway is one of Galway’s most famous and historic drinking establishments. For close to 400 years, The Quays Bar has catered to both Galwegians and visitors to Galway city. Traditional Irish cuisine is served here all week from noon and you can indulge in some delicious fresh oysters straight from Galway Bay.
The Quays Bar is busy pretty much every night so you will never have to drink alone. Traditional and folk acts plus local pop bands bellow out from the stage on stilts in the middle of the pub. Our upstairs music hall takes our entertainment to a different level, literally, with its suspended stage and spectacular organ pipe back drop. There you will see many of Irelands top touring bands, with the odd special “In Concert” shows featuring Aslan, Frankie Gavin, Nathan Carter. It also plays host to the long running TG4 “Glor Tire “Country music shows now in its 15th session.
